Trinity Methodist ChurchOur Church (Click to Enlarge)

is one of the 4 'Island' Churches.  It is in a prominent position in the heart of the Southsea district of Portsea Island and ministers to a busy business & residential population. Being close to the seafront, it is within easy reach for the holidaying visitors.

The traditionally well kept church retains all the character of an early 20th century place of worship, offering  peace & tranquillity to visitors & worshipers alike. Its charm & ambiance makes it a perfect setting for Marriages & Christenings. All are welcome to join us.

We have a good size multi racial congregation at our services, made up of people from all over the City of Portsmouth & including many visitors & holidaymakers. Trinity has a long standing tradition of friendship & offers a welcome to all who wish to worship with us.

The Church, Minister & Parishioners continue long established links with the local communities & provide regular church based facilities not just on Sundays but on a day by day basis.

The Christian community based  at Trinity meets for worship each Sunday at 10.30 am. At the same time Trinity Juniors (the T J Club) meets and welcomes children and young people to join its Christian based activities.

During the week nearly 20 church and community groups meet on our premises. We also offer our facilities for community events such as school carol services, keep fit lessons & church coach party lunches.

The church, of traditional Methodist design, has an impressive high ceiling & is complete with a large balcony. The pipe organ is an original feature. At the rear of the building are two large schoolrooms provide facilities for church & community events. The lower is equipped with a well fitted kitchen.
